The last time I ate meat was Kerby's chicken lemon-rice soup about 9 years ago. A sentimental 5 stars!!!!

Pretty bad experience with one worker in particular. Upon first walking in and asking for takeout I was rudely pointed over to a carry out station near the kitchen. The woman who took my order was friendly but, to pay I had to speak to the rude gentleman again. After handing him my card he swiped it and handed me back the portion that usually needs to be signed. After asking him for the itemized receipt he snarled that I had to ask for it before hand. I then asked him if he needed the signed portion and he said no this was my receipt. At that point I had enough of the guy and just left. Other than the bad service the food was at best, just okay.

Congratulations, Kerby's Koney Island of Farmington Hills! You've earned my inaugural 1 star review on the 44th President of the United State's inauguration day! You could have been raised to a 2 or 3 star rating despite your dirty dining ways but NO, you had to reveal that most heinous underbelly of partisan politics by trying to keep patrons from hearing an historic event on your televisions. After initial requests for turning on the volume loud enough for patrons to hear, one waitress announced that she would have to turn down the volume due to other patrons desire to conduct business meetings. After people expressed outrage and demanded to speak to the manager, you said there was none on staff. Then who gave you the authorization to turn down the set? When protests were expressed your reaction was to mention glibly that A: you could hear it just fine and B: you could have just kept the sports station on instead. Your ability to empathize was just spiffy! I guess all people have the same hearing abilities, right? I guess a small portion of people who want to conduct business carry more clout than a majority of people who go to eat and watch (and hear) television of a first time world event. I hope you understood the error of your ways by the several tables of patrons cutting their meals short or not ordering at all and choosing instead to listen to President Barack H. Obama deliver his history-making speech on their car radios. Way to embrace the closed-minded, repressive past, Kerby! And thanks for reminding me how far we have yet to go in becoming a society of caring, selfless people.

I went here for the first time today, I really underestimated this place! Based on the name I thought it was some type of place similar to Sonic, cheap fast food that has poor quality and flavor. I ended up getting the Yeros sandwich with zucchini fries. The sandwich was so flavorful, I couldn't imagine making a better gyro sandwich and the zucchini fries came with a good helping of Ranch dressing that worked perfectly! I will definitely be back here.

Wow-worst food experience in awhile. My mother and I came in for breakfast (on a non-busy morning) and got the eggs special. Both of our breakfasts were cold and the toast wasn't buttered. My mom's tea water was also lukewarm. We told our waitress, who silently just took the plates with no apology only to come back with my eggs overdone. I guess popping them in the microwave does that vs. cooking a new breakfast. The hash browns were raw still. Awful experience, terrible service from the waitress, and when we went to pay, the girl ringing us out did not even ask how everything was. Never again...

What you smell is what you get. One server in particular likes to talk about her personal life and it can be pretty uncomfortable, especially if she interrupts a particularly enjoyable heart to heart conversation you're having with whomever you are dining with (for example, today, with my mother). I don't think I'll be back again cuz this has happened way too many times. I go to coney island specifically because I don't want to interact that much with a server - i want in and out, quick service that leaves me alone with my grimey little meal. so it's official. Kerby's is off the list.

The food is good. The reason I give this Kirby's only 3 stars is because the owner says they do not have wifi. However, when I check the settings on my phone I can see a very strong wifi signal is available, but it is locked. Really? You have wifi, but won't let your customers use it? There are a lot of other good Coney restaurants in the area with wifi. I will return to this Kirby's when I see a "free wifi" sign in the window.

I get annoyed with this place because it is so hit or miss. The waitstaff is either great or aloof. The food is good or takes forever and is subpar. I think it is a management issue maybe? Assign some side work so the place feels less grimy and get the kitchen to pump out some food so a simple salad and egg order doesn't take a half hour. Oh and don't lie about refilling my coffee...i know better.

I go here all the time and always have great service. Lots of variety, quick and cheap. It doesn't get too busy during lunch so I never worry I won't get back to work on time. Salads, soups, gyros and such are my go to and their curly fries are so tasty!

This is similar to most coney's but the one thing that sets them apart was their great service! We had April and she was wonderful! We have two young children (2 years old and 4 years old), and there are times we don't receive the best welcome when we go to restaurants. April went out of her way to be friendly with our children, including asking us if they could have a balloon, which they loved! Our food arrived quickly and tasted good. We will be returning back here!

This place is normally not that bad, but I'm giving it 1 star for the last time I went there. Something was off with the chili. It smelled funny and had a funny taste. It was like it was old and possibly reused. Then came the food poisoning. I will never eat here again. Beware of the chili. I thought maybe it was just a different recipe but it clearly was bad.
